Healthy Holiday Hors D’oeuvres with Decorating and Entertaining Tips for a Stress-Free Holiday

Event Date: Thursday, December 2nd @ 6 pm – 8 pm

Launch into the holidays with an evening of good food, and inspiration to enjoy a healthy, beautiful and stress-free season.

Dietitian Bre, and chef Debbie will demo and discuss healthy hors d’oeuvres to serve at your holiday parties. They will also provide tips for shopping and working ahead to simplify last minute preparation for entertaining.

Enjoy a session with Alisha Ebersole, the co-owner of Splendid Arrangements, on simple, yet beautiful holiday decorating by bringing nature indoors with greens, berries, pine cones and citrus.

Join personal trainer, Brennan for an exercise demo and discussion on a 10 minute workout to incorporate cardio and relieve tension and stress.

Beating the Winter Blues 

Rejuvenate Don’t Hibernate

Event Date: Tuesday, January 11th @ 6 pm – 8 pm

, Stay strong and vibrant during the winter months with nutritious mood-boosting food and consistent exercise! 

Join us for an evening that includes:

A cooking demonstration and discussion on nutrient dense foods to boost your mood and energy level with Dietitian Bre and Chef Rachel, paired with a light dinner.

A discussion on mental well-being tips to stay positive during the winter months, with Health Coach Jeanette. 

A fun session with an instructor from CAVOD Performing Arts where we will learn dance and exercise moves (for beginners) to stay active at home! This session is for all ages and fitness levels. Participation is optional.

Meet the Team

Meet Bre Kauffman

Bre is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer. She is passionate about whole-person wellness and individualized nutrition. She believes that healthy eating can be practical and enjoyable and can also largely impact health. 

Bre will be leading a session on nourishing our bodies with food in a way that promotes health without focusing on restrictions or diets. She will also co-lead a fun and interactive cooking demonstration with Chef Rachel. Bre will be available to discuss goals, answer questions and to help you determine your next steps in pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

 

Meet Jeanette Barber

Jeanette is a Certified Health Coach and Certified Personal Trainer. She has a passion for people and wellness and enjoys encouraging people to prioritize self-care and live a healthy lifestyle. She has studied and highly values the impact of exercise on mental wellbeing. 

Jeanette will be providing stress management tips throughout the event. She will be available to discuss goals, answer questions and to both encourage you and challenge you to prioritize self-care.

1:00-1:45      Connected Relationships (with Cindy, of Little                         Springs Farm, and her horses

2:00-2:45     Goal Setting and Reflection time on the farm                          (optional add on: inspirational speaker) 

2:45-3:00      Wrap up

Lunch at the retreats will include a delicious chef-prepared meal featuring fresh, local organic ingredients.
